BarrelandBlade.com is the brainchild of two brothers with a combined history of 75 years in the gun, knife and hunting industry. Both worked in the corporate Internet Technology field for many years and chose instead to combine their knowledge and passions to create the ultimate one stop shop for everything you would ever want to see on a gun and knife website.
Doug Johnson
Doug Johnson – Doug is an active member of the NRA, ICarry, USCCA, Illinois State Rifle Association, Gun Owners of America and a served as a Navy Diver while in the US Navy. He has worked professionally as a Software Expert in the Medical Device & Pharmaceutical Industries for almost 20 years. With hobbies including hunting, gun collecting, handgun training, shooting and meeting others in this industry – creating BarrelandBlade.com with this brother was a culmination of lifelong passions.
Dan Johnson
Dan Johnson – Dan is the owner of the Big Show Journal, America’s Most Accurate and Complete Gun and Knife Show Calendar Magazine which is printed 6 times/year. Dan also served as a Navy Diver while in the US Navy. He is an avid hunter and enjoys interacting with professionals and enthusiasts in the gun & knife industry. He also worked in the Internet Technology industry for several years and saw the popularity of the web for expanding business interests. To broaden the Big Show Journal to include a gun show and knife show web presence he corroborated with his brother Doug to create BarrelandBlade.com to be your only stop for your gun and knife interests.
